The Wharf has fun free family events like
the Summer Soltice Wayne Toups Concert in June 2008. Wayne Toups was playing
zydecajun his combination of Cajun and Zydeco blended with rock. .
The outdoor stage was set up in the condominium breezeway at the end of the main
street. This is near the Guy Harvey Restaurant outdoor bar which is built in the
shape of a fishing boat. Guy Harvey is a well known artist who captures sea life
in its native environment. His images have been reproduced on just about
anything you can think of including wine and spices. A restaurant bearing his
name as well as clothing and art print shops are at The Wharf too.
